We may collect information you provide directly, such as name, agency, role, email address, phone number, agency size, product interests, and messages submitted through contact forms or demo requests.

We may also collect limited technical information, such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, visit date and time, referring URL, and similar identifiers needed for security, basic analytics, abuse prevention, and site improvement.

In the platform, information may include user, caregiver, document, form, signature, task, operational log, and patient-related service data, depending on each customer agency’s configuration.

2. How we use information

We use information to respond to requests, coordinate demos, provide and improve services, configure accounts, provide support, maintain operational records, protect system security, and comply with legal or contractual obligations.

We do not use protected health information for targeted advertising or sell it. Agency and user data is used to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the contracted services.

3. Health information and HIPAA

HiCareGiver may process health-related or sensitive operational information on behalf of agencies that may be covered entities or business associates under HIPAA. In those cases, specific obligations are governed by the applicable agreement, including any Business Associate Agreement.

We apply administrative, technical, and organizational controls designed to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information, including access controls, activity logs, security review, and incident response procedures.

4. How we share information

We may share information with service providers that help us operate the site, host systems, process communications, send emails, maintain security, analyze performance, or provide support. These providers must use information only for the contracted services.

We may also disclose information when necessary to comply with law, respond to legal process, protect rights, investigate fraud, or prevent security incidents. We do not sell personal information.
